Important — this is a ride-in, ride-out MOT
- •Ride your bike to the test and arrive 15 minutes before your slot time, then ride it out after the test.
- •Do NOT bring your bike in a van or trailer and try to unload it in the lane or the yard.

MOT class
Your bike is Class 1 or Class 2
Motorcycles test as Class 1 (up to 200cc) or Class 2 (over 200cc), EU categories L1–L7 — mopeds, scooters and motorbikes alike. Both are £29 here, so you don’t need to work out which one you are before booking.

Daily checks before you arrive
We don’t service or repair motorcycles — this is an MOT-test-only service. Please carry out your standard pre-ride checks before arriving so we can test the bike straight away. If we find a fault on the day we’ll record it on the certificate, but we can’t fix it for you on site — checking the bike over before you set off saves you a second trip.
What to check before you ride in
- Tyres — pressures, tread depth and sidewall condition
- Brakes — both front and rear, lever/pedal feel, fluid level
- Lights — headlamp (high/low), tail, brake, indicators, number plate
- Mirrors — secure, clean, properly adjusted
- Chain & sprockets — tension and lubrication (if chain drive)
- Fluids — engine oil and coolant levels
- Controls — throttle, clutch, cables free and undamaged
- Horn working, exhaust secure, registration plate clean and legible
